The double-wheel hoist is a lifting auxiliary device equipped with two pulleys. When used in conjunction with ropes, winches, or manual hoists, it leverages the mechanical advantage of pulleys to facilitate the lifting or pulling of heavy objects. It is widely applied in various medium- and small-scale lifting operations, such as construction and renovation, equipment maintenance, power emergency repairs, and warehouse handling tasks. The structure primarily consists of a pulley frame, two pulleys, axle rods, upper and lower hooks (or lifting rings), and safety locking tabs. The upper hook (or lifting ring) is designed for securing the hoist—typically attached to overhead cranes, tripod structures, or crossbeams—while the lower hook connects directly to the load. The rope is routed sequentially around both pulleys, creating an efficient force-reducing mechanism. Thanks to its dual-pulley design, the hoist achieves a mechanical advantage of 2:1, meaning the required pulling force is only half the weight of the object being lifted, significantly reducing operational labor intensity.
