Key Points for the Installation and Management of Lifting Equipment
2025-09-08
Installation must be carried out by a professional team holding the "Special Equipment Installation (Maintenance) Safety Approval Certificate," certified by the provincial quality supervision authority. Prior to installation, a special equipment commencement report must be submitted, and relevant plans must undergo thorough review. After installation, the equipment must first undergo self-inspection by the installing unit, followed by operational and load tests—only then can it be officially accepted by a specialized equipment inspection agency. Once approved and granted the "Safety Use Permit," the equipment can finally be put into operation. Important precautions include: equipment that has not been inspected or has exceeded its validity period must not be used; operators must hold valid certifications before working; there must be a designated supervisor on-site during lifting operations; lifting plans require prior approval; all safety devices and lifting gear must pass inspection; the ground at the lifting site must be stable, with proper support pads under the crane’s outriggers; and operations should be strictly prohibited in adverse weather conditions.
